Nate here and here’s a little story I’ve got to tell you… About the great Kennedy Kitchen Flood of 2013.

I’ll never forget, Susan was 6 months pregnant and my son, Caden was almost 2 years old.

We had just returned from some quality family time at the park and to our horror were greeted by a most unwelcome guest … a flooded kitchen.

The shock on our faces was not a Kodak moment.

Where did all the water come from?

We looked under cabinets, under the sinks, under the fridge even and saw nothing.

It wasn’t until we looked UP that we realized what was going DOWN… All the water was coming from the ceiling.

You see, a pipe in the upstairs water heater sprung a leak and was shooting water through the rafters.

Under the weight of the water the ceiling caved. Water gushed in and flooded the kitchen.

Took us 2 weeks and a fat 5-Figure Invoice just to resume normal life. Those 2 weeks felt like an eternity for my Prego wife 🙂

Luckily, our insurance covered the repair invoice.

Now, leaking water is pretty easy to spot. It didn’t take us too long to find it, fix it and get our life back to normal…
